Especially in that critical part of the game where you're just barely covering all the jobs with Foxies, and have very few General Workers. You really don't want to try to actively build too many things, is the short answer. or the new House so some Foxies can 'get down to ***** town.' Especially for those high priority targets, like putting Gems into towers (or out). What I've typically done is lay out a skeleton of the Maze/Town in ignore, then go back and add a few greens (sections), but the idea is to make sure you have enough of a work force to address your building requirements. Bump more things down priority-wise (maybe even into 'ignore' status for a bit). So if you really need something done, you gotta micromanage things a bit. That said, you might see cheap walls with a low priority finish faster than your middle priority, and other such things, like a whole huge bank of low priority walls have all the wood, but no stone, etc. In my experience, they'll tend to be built at about the same overall rate, together (like six blasts at medium will often have 60-80% of mats delivered to all six). I do know a bit about 'lots of towers taking ages to finish.' For right or wrong, once you put something down with priorities set to anything other than 'ignore', workers will start delivering to them. screenshots, descriptions of what you're up to, etc. Well, your answer could be any number of things without some more info. Plus, the guys who regenerate, are immune to all elemental damage AND speed their way through the maze is just plain unfair. Otherwise, one wrong move or bad wave and you'll never be able to recover. It would be great if waves could be better timed and balanced to give recently-attacked settlements time to at least try to repair.

It's what I call Exodus Borealis' 'Death Spiral' - an impossible situation to bounce back from, and one that makes me rage quit after spending hours painstakingly building a map only to have to start over again. And all my villagers are getting killed, I can't bring my economy back up, and can barely get through the winter. OK, well, I try to rebuild, but can't rebuild fast enough AND keep up with defense. In several games, I've run into an issue where a wave defense fails and some guys get into my base, wrecking some buildings and killing people.

So, I do love this game, and while I appreciate the recent patch to balance some difficulty, I think more is needed.
